How-to: Enter or Change Your Fundraiser Start Dates

Set or change the start dates for your Experience and activities to suit your needs.

When you create a fundraising Experience on RallyUp, you can launch your fundraiser immediately or set a future start date. You can also set different start dates for different fundraising activities, giving you maximum flexibility. 

Enter the Start Date(s) 

  1. Select Experiences from the left menu.
  2. If you have chosen a list view, click on the Experience title. If you have chosen a grid view, click on the Experience image.
  3. Select Edit Experience*.
  4. Select Basics in the timeline at the top. 
  5. If you have selected only one fundraising activity, scroll down to When do you want to start…?*:

If you have selected multiple fundraising activities, scroll down to Choose when fundraising activities start for your donors:

  1. Select the start date option that works best for you. If you want to set different start dates for each activity, select the Choose different start dates… option.

When you finish setup and are ready to go live or schedule your Experience, a pop-up with the start date information you selected will appear: 

Double-check your start dates before going live or scheduling.

Change the Start Date(s)

If you've already scheduled an Experience that isn't live yet and would like to change the start date, you can do so easily:

Activities with the Same Start Date

  1. Select Experiences from the left menu.
  2. If you have chosen a list view, hover your mouse over the Experience title and select the three-dot menu on the right. If you have selected a grid view, select the three-dot menu under the Experience image.
  3. Select Edit Start Date:

  1. Enter your new start date, then select Save:

Activities with Different Start Dates

  1. Select Experiences from the left menu.
  2. If you have chosen a list view, click on the Experience title. If you have chosen a grid view, click on the Experience image.
  3. Select Edit Experience*.
  4. Go to each activity section in the timeline at the top (e.g., if you're running a Raffle, go to Raffle in the timeline).
  5. Scroll down to When do you want to start…?* and edit the start date:

  1. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each activity start date you want to change.
  2. Select Save in the upper right corner of the screen. 

After Your Experience Starts

If your Experience is already live, but you want to pause and restart it at a later date, contact our customer success team so they can freeze your fundraiser. Freezing an Experience ensures no further transactions will occur. Contact us again when you want to resume the fundraiser, and we can unfreeze it.
